Boney Kapoor’s daughter and Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Anshula Kapoor, married boyfriend Rohan Thakkar on July 6. After the wedding, which took place with traditional rituals, the couple hosted a reception on Tuesday, attended by both families as well as many big Bollywood celebrities.

For the reception, the vermilion color was chosen for the outfit at Anshula’s request.
Anshula’s special outfit was made from Banarasi brocade, which she paired with emerald jewelry.
Sharing pictures of her reception outfit, Anshula wrote, ‘For our cocktail party, I knew from the beginning that I wanted to wear red. This was my first evening as a married woman, celebrating this new chapter of my life. In such a situation, vermilion red seemed like the most appropriate color to me. When Amit (Agarwal) and I started discussing this outfit, one thought kept coming to mind repeatedly: I wanted it to be a metaphor for my identity and personality.’
Amit Aggarwal started with a Banarasi brocade saree and reimagined it into a sculptural corseted silhouette. He retained the beauty of the saree’s traditional draping but transformed its pallu into a modern couture statement. This design respects tradition but doesn’t feel bound by it. I feel my entire wedding has been exactly like this, cherishing my roots and traditions, while wholeheartedly embracing the new journey ahead.
Bobby Deol Stumbles at Reception
At Anshula-Rohan’s reception, a photo booth was set up for guests. While coming to click pictures, Bobby Deol misjudged the height and stumbled. After that, he regained his balance and was seen smiling.

Arjun Kapoor also shared an emotional post for Anshula on social media after the wedding. He wrote, “To my Ansh, you will always be mine, but now it’s time for me to let you go on a new path. Today you are starting your new life with Rohan. Seeing you smile, my heart, my mind, and my soul are extremely happy. I have seen you grow up since childhood, and today you have become such a wonderful woman, who embodies the image of our mother at every step.”
He further wrote, “Never worry, because mother is always watching you and giving you her blessings every moment. I am always with you, will always support you and will always ensure that the smile on your face never fades. Lots of love, Your Arjun Bhaiya.”
