A video has emerged from ‘Kakra Anganwadi Center’ in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh, in which innocent children are seen being served only salt and puri in the name of nutritious food. As soon as the matter came to light, there was a stir in the Women and Child Development Department.
Officials said – The video is 3 months old
Taking cognizance of the matter, District Program Officer (DPO) Rajendra Bangde has issued orders for an inquiry. The command of the investigation has been handed over to Project Officer Akhilesh Deepankar, who has reached the spot and started the probe. According to officials, in the preliminary investigation, this video appears to be about three months old, which was recently posted on social media on Thursday.

The District Program Officer has clarified that every aspect and fact of the viral video is being thoroughly investigated. A detailed report has been requested from the Project Officer. After the report comes out, the strictest possible action will be taken against the culprits under the rules.
