
2 brothers were shot dead in a land dispute in Morena.
A dispute broke out between two parties over encroachment on government land and the erection of a thorny fence in Hatumpura village, Morena district, Madhya Pradesh, at 12 PM on Sunday. Following this, both parties fired at each other. In the incident, 8 people shot and killed two brothers, while two others were seriously injured.
According to Sumawali police, Rajveer Gurjar (42) and his younger brother Ajab Singh alias Bantu (30) were shot in the firing. Both died on the spot. Vikas Gurjar and Pappu alias Dhirendra were seriously injured. Both injured were referred to Gwalior.

Relatives name 14 accused
Rinku Gurjar, a relative of the deceased, held Natho alias Nathuram, Chhote Singh, Sachin, Rahul, Basumit, Satyapal, Lavkush, and Golu, along with 6 unknown individuals, responsible for the incident. It was alleged that these individuals killed Rajveer and Ajab Singh by firing. After the incident, all the accused fled from the scene.
Tension in village, additional police force deployed
After the double murder, a tense situation prevailed in Hatumpura village. Police had sent both bodies to the district hospital for post-mortem. Additional police force was deployed in the village to prevent any untoward incident. The situation was being continuously monitored.

Raids in search of accused
Sumawali Police Station in-charge SI Ravi Gurjar said that there was a dispute between 2 parties over putting a barbed wire fence on government land, which later turned into firing. Several police teams were continuously raiding potential hideouts for the arrest of the accused. The matter was being investigated. The accused will be arrested soon.

Police force has been deployed in Hatumpura village in view of the tension.
