Naseeruddin Shah and Kangana have not shared screen space in any film. However, in 2018, both had a conversation with each other on a ‘Film Companion’ talk show.
Kangana Ranaut clarified regarding calling senior actor Naseeruddin Shah a ‘Lomdi’. She said that this attitude of the film industry is not new. According to Kangana, many people shed ‘crocodile tears’ during the protest at Jantar Mantar, but now the same people are silent on the alleged atrocities against children in Jharkhand.
Sharing her own experience, Kangana said, “When Parliament was attacked, people climbed onto my MP friends’ cars and broke their windows. A crowd of about 2,500 people also gathered outside my house, and we needed so much police that we couldn’t sleep at night. Back then, these people cried fake tears. But now, when children in Jharkhand are suffering, why are they silent? Are those children not part of the younger generation?”
She added that it is wrong to believe that only people who speak against the country or the Prime Minister represent the youth. Kangana stated that she herself is a young, working woman building her career, so it is unfair to call her “anti-youth.”
Kangana is a BJP MP from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat.
Targeting the film industry, Kangana said that those who shed tears over the Jantar Mantar issue should also raise their voice for children in Jharkhand.
Referring to Naseeruddin Shah’s video, Kangana said that he had made such statements and threats in the video, which she considers highly objectionable. She said that the Prime Minister is the elected leader of the country and his position should be respected under the dignity of democracy.

Such dirty, such vulgar things and threats: ‘Get out of the country’, ‘We will burn you’, ‘We will kill you’, what is this, does anyone think, are these civilized things?
Kangana questioned the love for Pakistan
Kangana said, ‘And whenever you see, be it their films, their talks, their interviews, when will this love story of Pakistan end? Whenever you see, they are dying in love with Pakistan. I want to know that so many years have passed since the partition, then why is this love story not ending?’
She further said, ‘;When there are so many, be it the Pahalgam attack or the Operation Sindoor we carried out, the country is going somewhere else, the armies are going somewhere else, the citizens have some other struggles regarding neighboring countries, when will this Bollywood love story with Pakistan end?’

Naseer Sahab earns his livelihood here, yet champions the cause of a neighboring country. Honestly, in today’s world, being compared to a dog is actually a compliment, given how rare true loyalty and affection have become. It is far better to be a loyal dog than a cunning fox like Naseeruddin.
