The ongoing dispute between yoga guru Baba Ramdev and BJP MP-actress Kangana Ranaut has now been resolved. The effort to bring the two sides together took place at Kangana Ranaut’s residence at 14 Janpath in Delhi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Representing Baba Ramdev, his spokesperson S.K. Tijarawala visited Kangana’s home with gifts. The two sides have agreed not to make public statements against each other. Following the reconciliation, Kangana also sent a Rakhi to Baba Ramdev.
After meeting Kangana, Baba Ramdev and Kangana also spoke over the phone. According to Kangana’s close aide and political advisor Mayank Madhur, the conversation led to an agreement to put an end to the bitterness and public exchanges between the two.

My brother Baba Ramdev ji said something very meaningful — there should be dialogue, not controversy. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, I accept both his sweets and the affection of an elder brother. Thank you very much. May God bless you with a long life.”

Kangana Ranaut had called Gen-Z protesters “gutter-chaap” (gutter-class). In a conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh, Baba Ramdev said on Kangana’s statement, “What is her qualification? How was her childhood? How was her youth? How have her past deeds been? I do not want to talk about such people. Calling any youth of the country, Gen Z, ‘gutter-patter’ is a sign of a distorted mind. It is wrong. The people in her party should take cognizance of this.”
Kangana hit back at Baba Ramdev over his remarks
Kangana responded to Baba Ramdev’s remarks in a social media post. She wrote, “Baba ji, don’t daydream about my youth or bedroom. Only someone who relies on rumours and gossip could think this way. At least, I have never been reprimanded by the Supreme Court over false or fake medical claims. So, don’t lecture me about character. Whatever your character may be, mine is far better than yours. There is no fraud here.”
Controversy flared up again after the interview
Although the controversy appeared to have settled, Kangana again spoke about Baba Ramdev during an interview with DD News. She said Baba Ramdev was already upset with her.
Recalling his earlier remarks, Kangana said that when Baba Ramdev was asked about her referring to the protesters as “gutter-chhap”, he questioned whether anyone had seen what her childhood and youth were like.
Kangana then sarcastically questioned his comments, saying, “Was Baba Ramdev hanging in my bedroom like a bat? Did he see what it was like? What exactly did he see? I don’t understand what he saw. He should have told us what he saw.”
