Hanuman Ansh is holding strong at the box office even in its fifth week. The film recorded its highest collection on a fifth Saturday in Hindi, surpassing the previous record set by Dhurandhar. Saturday also became Hanuman Ansh’s biggest-grossing day so far.

Hanuman Ansh earns ₹16.50 crore on fifth Saturday

According to Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh collected ₹16.50 crore net in Hindi on its fifth Saturday. In comparison, Dhurandhar had earned ₹11.75 crore on its fifth Saturday.

Film had a slow start

Hanuman Ansh opened with just ₹10 lakh net. It earned around ₹1.50 crore in its first two weeks, followed by ₹10.40 crore in the third week. The film then saw a major jump in its fourth week, collecting ₹61 crore net.

The film has already earned a net of ₹26.25 crore in just the first two days of its fifth week. Further growth in its collection is expected.

After the fifth Saturday’s earnings, Hanuman Ansh has reached close to the ₹100 crore net mark in India. The film’s total net collection has reached ₹99.38 crore. It is fully expected that the film will cross the ₹100 crore net mark today.

With this, it will become the first Indian film to enter the ₹100 crore net club after an opening of less than ₹1 crore at the Indian box office.

‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ earned ₹32 crore on its second day

Meanwhile, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ maintained its strong hold at the box office on its second day as well. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹32.00 crore net in India on its second day. The film’s total India gross collection has now reached ₹69.30 crore, and the India net collection stands at ₹57.75 crore.

Meanwhile, the film earned ₹6.00 crore overseas on the second day, bringing the total overseas gross collection to ₹10.25 crore. In two days, the worldwide gross collection of ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ has reached ₹79.55 crore.

Karan wrote, “Mirzapur is a solid, intense, and spicy film. I really like this series and I enjoyed the film a lot as well. All the old and famous characters are fantastic, and it also makes room for the new characters. Even if you haven’t watched the series, you will still like the film.”

Mirzapur: The Movie is one of Excel Entertainment’s first major theatrical films to emerge from a successful streaming franchise. The ‘Mirzapur’ series was released on Amazon Prime Video.

The first season of ‘Mirzapur’ was released on November 16, 2018, and consisted of 9 episodes. This was followed by the second season on October 23, 2020, which included 10 episodes. Meanwhile, the third season was released on July 5, 2024. This season also had a total of 10 episodes.
