
Telangana Police have recovered all the military weapons stolen from the Secunderabad Cantonment. According to the police, the theft was carried out with the help of a person working at the cantonment. The accused has been detained.
However, the police have not yet shared other details that have emerged during the investigation.
The theft came to light on August 31, when a lieutenant colonel of the Madras Regiment filed a complaint at Bolarum Police Station in Hyderabad’s Malkajgiri police zone.
According to the complaint, the locks of two armoury rooms, located around 40 metres apart, had been broken, and a large number of high-tech weapons were stolen.
