A class two student died while sitting in her classroom in Balrampur. The girl suddenly stood up from her seat and then fell. She regained consciousness after some time, but then fainted and fell again. She did not get up after that. Seeing this, the teachers took her to hospital, where doctors declared her dead. CCTV footage of the entire incident has also emerged.
The school management said that a procession for the immersion of Ganesh idols was passing near the school when the incident occurred. A DJ was playing at full volume during the procession. The girl’s condition deteriorated because of the loud sound, leading to her death. The incident took place at 11 a.m. on Monday at Divine Public School in the district headquarters.

Sonu Tiwari, a resident of Gulhariya village, lives in rented accommodation in Balrampur. His only daughter, Vaishnavi Tiwari (12), went to Divine Public School on Monday. At around 10:58 a.m., she was in class. She was laughing and talking to the other children. Vaishnavi appeared completely normal.
CCTV footage shows a DJ passing by the school. Some people can be seen dancing as they go. Hearing the DJ’s music, the children sitting in the classroom also start dancing for a while. During this, the girl gets up from her seat but then sits back down. She stumbles once, but regains her balance within a second and sits down again. However, a few seconds later, she falls again and this time is unable to get up.
The children sitting in the classroom also started dancing to the DJ’s music.
Teacher rushed over and lifted the girl
When the class teacher noticed Vaishnavi, she ran over to her. She lifted her and tried to seat her in a chair. However, Vaishnavi did not get up. The teacher then sent a child to call the school staff. The teachers together supported Vaishnavi and tried to revive her.
When Vaishnavi did not regain consciousness for around two minutes, she was taken to the District Memorial Hospital. School staff and Vaishnavi’s family members accompanied her. At the hospital, doctors checked her pulse, but she had already died.

Senior doctor Giridhar Chauhan at the District Memorial Hospital said,
The girl was brought to the hospital’s emergency department dead. Therefore, it is not possible to determine the exact cause of her death without a post-mortem examination. However, her family took the body to Siddharthnagar without having a post-mortem conducted.
Meanwhile, City Circle Officer Abhishek Singh said,
We learnt through social media that the student died because of the sound of a DJ passing near the school. No information was given to the police station. The student’s last rites have also been performed. Despite this, the police are investigating the entire matter. CCTV footage is being examined.
