A case of rape of a 17-year-old minor student has come to light in Bhopal. The accused constable called the student to meet him, using his daughter’s birthday party as an excuse. After this, he took her to a room, held her captive, and raped her.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, during this time, his fellow policeman stood guard outside with his 3-4 year old son. Following the victim’s complaint, both policemen have been arrested.<\/p>\n

According to the police, both accused are posted as constables in the Special Armed Force (SAF). Based on the victim’s complaint, a zero FIR was initially registered at Kamla Nagar police station.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Jahangirabad police registered a case and started an investigation. A case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the POCSO Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The main accused is the victim’s neighbor.<\/p>\n

How the incident was carried out<\/strong><\/p>\n

The investigation revealed that Constable Santosh Sen, posted in Dhar, called the victim on the evening of July 22 from a mobile phone belonging to an acquaintance, inviting her to his daughter’s birthday party. Around 6:30 PM, when the minor reached near Lal Parade Ground, Santosh Sen and Constable Jitendra Rajput, posted in Gwalior, were present in a car. Jitendra’s son was also sitting in the car.<\/p>\n

It is alleged that Santosh first gained the victim’s trust by citing his daughter’s birthday, then took her to a house in MP Nagar, where he raped her. During this time, Jitendra Rajput remained outside with his younger son, keeping an eye on anyone coming or going.<\/p>\n

Police investigating the case<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the incident, the victim informed her family. Following this, the police immediately registered a case and took both accused into custody. After preliminary investigation, both were arrested and presented in court. Police officials state that considering the seriousness of the matter, all aspects are being investigated. Evidence related to the crime scene is being collected, and further action will be taken based on the victim’s statement and other evidence.<\/p>\n
