He also appealed to lawyers across the country to contribute to the fund, which has been set up to provide legal assistance to students facing criminal cases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><span class=\"e913fbaa d3886593\"><strong>CJP protest lasted 36 days, ended after Pradhan&#8217;s resignation<\/strong><\/span><strong\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">On 15 May, the Chief Justice of India made the &#8216;cockroach&#8217; remark about the unemployed. In response, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was formed on social media on 16 May. Its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, arrived in India on 6 June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">From 20 June, protesters began a sit-in at Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak issue.
