According to the police, the murder was not due to old enmity or financial transactions, but the result of a conspiracy by a young man blinded by one-sided love.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the case, the main accused Golu alias Dhirendra Pal, his associate Babu alias Prince Raj Gaur, and a minor have been arrested. The search for other accused is ongoing. They had come from Bhopal to murder Rakesh’s maternal cousin, Bhagwandas Lodhi. But due to a mistake in identification, Rakesh Lodhi was killed.<\/p>\n It is worth noting that hardware businessman Rakesh Lodhi (26) was murdered on July 26 in Medhki village, under Sanchi police station. After the incident, the killers fled the scene.<\/p>\n Target changed within a 15-minute interval<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the police, Golu alias Dhirendra Pal, along with his associates, had reached Salamatpur Chowk on the night of July 26, prepared to murder Bhagwandas. Bhagwandas used to go home from the shop daily on a bike, but on the day of the incident, he left for home about 15 minutes earlier by a loading auto.<\/p>\n Subsequently, his younger brother Rakesh was returning home on a bike with his maternal cousin Babblesh Lodhi. About 500 meters before the village, the accused stopped their bike and asked for directions. Then they asked, “Who among you is Bhagwandas?”<\/p>\n Before both could understand anything, the accused attacked with sharp weapons. Rakesh put his hand forward in defense, which cut his palm. After this, the accused made several strikes and fled from the scene. Babblesh somehow escaped from there. He informed his family and the police. Seriously injured Rakesh died while being taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n Police have arrested the accused and presented them in court.<\/span><\/p>\n Rakesh lived with his maternal uncle, he was married two months ago<\/strong><\/p>\n Rakesh Lodhi had been living with his mother at his maternal uncle Girdharilal Lodhi’s house in Medki village for the past 15 years. He managed his maternal uncle’s hardware shop located at Salamatpur Square. On the upper floor of the same building, his maternal uncle’s son Bhagwandas had a pesticide shop. His cousin Babblesh also worked there. The three of them used to commute together daily from the shop to home and home to the shop. Rakesh had married Vandana Lodhi, a resident of Salera, on May 12, 2026.<\/p>\n Police began investigating all possible angles. A team was formed for the investigation, which interrogated several suspects, including Rakesh’s wife Vandana. His wife had a friendship with Golu alias Dheerendra Pal before her marriage. He mistook this relationship for love. After the marriage, he started planning to remove Bhagwandas from his path.<\/p>\n Golu alias Dhirendra Pal had reached Bhagwandas’s shop in Salamatpur twice before to recce him.
