The child kept screaming and crying, but the accused did not stop. He sustained serious injuries to his head, nose, and several parts of his body. A video of the blood-soaked child has also surfaced. The incident is from Padariya Shivrampur village in Ganjbasoda tehsil.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to information, the accused father’s name is 39-year-old Toofan Singh. It is alleged that he was under the influence of alcohol. The child was playing around in the house, which angered him, leading him to commit this act. Hearing the child’s screams, villagers rescued him. The injured child is a sixth-grade student.<\/p>\n Child’s hands and feet tied with rope<\/strong><\/p>\n Laxman Singh Dangi, Sarpanch of Padariya Shivrampur, stated that around 8:30 PM on July 26, Toofan Singh first beat his son. After that, he tied his hands and feet with a rope. He tied the rope to the back of the bike and dragged him for about 100 meters. He kept crying, saying ‘Leave me, Papa’.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During this, the Sarpanch’s eyes fell on him. He called the villagers and rescued the child, along with other children, from the clutches of the accused. The villagers confirmed the incident. They also made a video of the injured child after he was dragged. The most severe injury was to his mouth.<\/p>\n Injured child is from first wife<\/strong><\/p>\n According to villagers, the accused’s first marriage took place in 2011. He has two sons from his first wife. The elder son is disabled, while the second son is the one involved in this incident. Villagers say that his first wife left him due to his alcohol addiction. After this, both children started living with their father and grandmother.<\/p>\n Second wife also left him<\/strong><\/p>\n After his first wife left, the accused married for the second time in 2017. He also has two sons from his second wife. According to villagers, his second wife also left him due to his alcohol addiction and domestic violence. After this, all four children started living with their father and grandmother.<\/p>\n Villagers say that the children’s grandmother is mentally ill. They allege that the accused father often beats the children while intoxicated. Information about where the first and second wives are currently living could not be found.<\/p>\n The child has serious injury marks on his mouth and nose.<\/span><\/p>\n Police arrested the accused, court sent him to jail<\/strong><\/p>\n Ambanagar police outpost in-charge Sub-Inspector Manoj Tiwari said that Sarpanch Laxman Singh Dangi had informed the police outpost about the incident. Child Helpline (1098) was also informed and the process of ensuring the children’s safety was initiated.<\/p>\n After the complaint, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. The injured child was treated. All four children have been sent to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). A case was registered against the accused father under sections of cruelty to children and other relevant sections, he was arrested and presented in court.
