In the video, the woman was allegedly seen using abusive language against PM Modi. Subsequently, a case was registered against the woman on charges of intentional insult, public nuisance, and defamation. This complaint was filed by Smriti Singh, a resident of Ghaziabad, at the Noida Expressway Police Station.<\/p>\n Cited criminal cases against MPs<\/strong><\/p>\n Criticizing this action, Saurabh Das said that the use of abusive language is reprehensible, but it cannot be considered a criminal offense. Das wrote on social media platform X that a criminal case cannot be made for hate speech. He claimed that criminal cases are registered against 50 percent of Lok Sabha MPs, including about 100 BJP MPs. He said that the police should focus their energy on them, not on a 25-year-old woman. He demanded an immediate stop to harassing young people.<\/p>\n Police registered a Zero FIR<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the police, a Zero FIR was registered in Noida and sent to the Sansad Marg Police Station in New Delhi for further investigation. A Zero FIR can be registered at any police station, regardless of where the incident occurred. Complainant Smriti Singh stated in her complaint that the woman publicly used indecent and objectionable language against the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n According to the complaint, this act not only harms the dignity of a constitutional post but also aimed to spread hatred and disturb public peace. Smriti Singh stated that several videos of the woman are going viral on social media, in which she is using abusive language against the PM and his mother. She said that this is unacceptable and tarnishes the country’s image.
