The protesters gathered at Ghantaghar, burned an effigy of Ranaut and demanded her resignation as an MP.<\/p>\n The protesting students said the Delhi demonstration was linked to allegations of a NEET paper leak and concerns over students\u2019 futures. They alleged that Ranaut\u2019s remarks about students and women in connection with such a serious issue were inappropriate and objectionable.<\/p>\n Students warn of more protests<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Student Ruchika Gupta said students had taken part in the Delhi protest despite facing police action, and alleged that the language used by Ranaut about the movement was against democratic values.<\/p>\n She said remarks against women of this nature could not be accepted.<\/p>\n The protesters burned Ranaut\u2019s effigy in the presence of police. They warned that demonstrations would continue in the city if action was not taken against the BJP MP and she was not removed from office.<\/p>\n What did Kangana Ranaut Say?<\/strong><\/p>\n Ranaut had criticised a student protest at Delhi\u2019s Jantar Mantar, which she described as being led by the \u201cCockroach Janata Party (CJP).\u201d She referred to the participating Gen-Z students as \u201cGeneration Gutter.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared a post on her Instagram Story criticising reels related to the student protests, describing them as vulgar.<\/p>\n Ranaut said watching such reels made her feel like vomiting.
