Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has issued fresh provocative statements ahead of India’s Independence Day on August 15.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the Lahore Press Club in Pakistan, Pannun reportedly urged Sikhs to prevent PM Modi from hoisting the national flag and announced a $1,000 reward for doing so.<\/p>\n

In his address, Pannun made inflammatory remarks targeting India’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security, while also extending Independence Day greetings to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Pannun also targets Christians<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pannun’s remarks were not limited to Sikhs. He also attempted to provoke Christians over alleged incidents of violence against the community in India.<\/p>\n

He claimed that he had written to the US President during Christmas 2025 over alleged attacks on Christians in India.<\/p>\n

Calls for separate state in Northeast<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the letter, Pannun reportedly demanded the creation of a separate country for Christians by bringing together the seven northeastern states, including Manipur and Meghalaya.<\/p>\n

He proposed calling the proposed entity ‘Trump Land’.<\/p>\n

The latest remarks come amid heightened attention to security arrangements and threats ahead of India’s Independence Day celebrations.<\/p>\n

Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has continued his provocative campaign against India, calling for an armed struggle and making unverified claims about Sikh soldiers serving in the Indian Army.<\/p>\n

In his latest remarks, Pannun claimed that Punjab’s separation from India would pave the way for what he described as Kashmir’s freedom and alleged that India would subsequently be divided into several parts.<\/p>\n

Pannun also made claims about Sikh personnel in the Indian Army during periods of India-Pakistan tensions.<\/p>\n

He alleged that Sikh soldiers had been urged not to attack Pakistan because it is the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He further claimed that data on 1,800 Sikh soldiers was collected and that 200 to 250 of them were subsequently court-martialled.<\/p>\n

However, there is no official confirmation of these claims from the Indian Defence Ministry or the Army.<\/p>\n

Calls for separate Sikh armed force<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pannun also called for the formation of a new armed group, which he referred to as the ‘Sikh Homeland Security Defensive Force’.<\/p>\n

He claimed that the proposed force would support the creation of a separate ‘Democratic Republic of Khalistan’ by separating Punjab from India.<\/p>\n

Claims Shimla would be capital<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pannun claimed that Shimla would be the capital of the proposed Khalistan and made further provocative statements about capturing Delhi.<\/p>\n

He also claimed that Khalistani supporters would eventually seize the Red Fort and replace the Indian tricolour with the Khalistani flag.<\/p>\n

The claims are part of Pannun’s broader separatist campaign and have no legal or constitutional basis in India.<\/p>\n
