The Lok Sabha has sent a notice to Rahul Gandhi based on complaints by BJP MPs Anurag Thakur and Sanjay Jaiswal. Both MPs had termed his comments against Amit Shah as unparliamentary during the discussion on the Anti-Paper Leak Bill.<\/p>\n

Rahul has been asked to submit his response by 28 August. Rahul had used words like ‘idiot’ and ‘andhbhakt’ during the discussion on the bill on 29 July. Following this, Speaker Om Birla had ordered the removal of these words from the House proceedings.<\/p>\n

Rijiju had stood up and objected when Rahul used the words ‘andhbhakt’ and ‘idiot’.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jaiswal said- Action necessary to maintain the dignity of Parliament<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lok Sabha BJP Chief Whip Sanjay Jaiswal shared a letter on X. In it, he stated that he had given a breach of privilege notice regarding Rahul Gandhi’s objectionable comments against Amit Shah.<\/p>\n

These comments affected Amit Shah’s dignity as an MP and the decorum of Parliament. Jaiswal had written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on 29 July, demanding appropriate action against Rahul under the rules.<\/p>\n

Anurag had complained on 30 July<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Anurag Thakur had given a breach of privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi on July 30. The complaint alleged that during the discussion on the bill in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi used unparliamentary and insulting language.<\/p>\n

Also, serious allegations were made against them, but adequate prior notice was not given under Rule 353 of the House.<\/p>\n

Rahul said – Principal’s resignation is a show<\/strong><\/span> Rahul Gandhi had said on 29 July that he had spoken with several students. Especially with an 18-year-old student named Lovely. Rahul gave examples of ‘idiot’ and ‘blind devotee’ in the Lok Sabha referring to that same conversation. The ruling party called it unparliamentary.<\/p>\n

Rahul further said that students’ futures are being ruined due to paper leaks. He alleged that the education system is being run not by the Education Ministry, but by the RSS, and Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation is merely a show.<\/p>\n
