<\/p>\n Now, Govinda\u2019s former co-star Somy Ali has come out in his support. Sharing old pictures with the actor, Somy said that age should not become a reason to question an actor\u2019s professional choices.<\/p>\n Somy Ali says talent has no age<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Somy described Govinda as one of the most talented and humble actors she worked with during her time in the Hindi film industry. She said she has great respect for both Govinda and Sunita.<\/p>\n She added that an actor working with a younger actress should not be seen as age discrimination. According to Somy, \u201cTalent has no age,\u201d and an actor\u2019s ability should not be judged by their age or the age of their co-star.<\/p>\n Somy Ali worked with Govinda in the 1995 film Andolan.<\/span><\/p>\n Somy also said that when an artist gets an opportunity to work at a time when finding work can be difficult, that opportunity should be respected rather than mocked.<\/p>\n \u201cJust because someone is old, their age should not be used as a weapon against them, especially when they are trying to earn a living and continue doing the work they love,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Govinda tells Sunita to \u2018stay within limits\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n The controversy began after Sunita made remarks about Govinda being seen with Komal Rani Swarnkar, his co-star in his upcoming comeback film Roopa.<\/p>\n Sunita had said that Govinda was \u201croaming around with a girl the age of his daughter\u201d and suggested that he should be ashamed of it. She also referred to the younger actress in connection with the term \u201csugar daddy\u201d and criticised her dressing style.<\/p>\n Govinda later responded to these comments and asked Sunita to stay within limits. Defending his co-star, he said that younger actors and actresses have worked with established stars for years and that such collaborations can also help actors appear youthful.<\/p>\n He also criticised the way Sunita had spoken about people from less privileged backgrounds. Sunita had earlier spoken about the rumours surrounding Govinda and said that hearing such things about her husband at the age of 63 was not appropriate.<\/p>\n In an interview with Miss Malini, she also said that she disliked the name Komal and made it clear that she was unhappy about the situation.<\/p>\n Govinda, meanwhile, has defended Komal and praised her acting abilities.
