BJP’s National President Nitin Navin announced his new team on Monday. It has 65 members. Of these, 12, i.e., 18% are women members. 14 members have been given responsibility again, while 51 are new members. 73-year-old Vasundhara Raje is the most senior. While 35-year-old Dr. Hemang Joshi is the youngest.<\/p>\n

Next year, there are assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Goa. 18 people from these states have been given a place in the new team.<\/p>\n

18 faces from 7 states with 2027 assembly elections<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In BJP’s new team, 4 out of 7 states with assembly elections in 2027 have got representation. 8 from Uttar Pradesh, 4 from Uttarakhand, 4 from Gujarat, and 2 from Punjab, i.e., a total of 18 faces are included in the new team. Meanwhile, there are no names from Goa, Manipur, and Himachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n

Only 12 women among 65 members<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Several women leaders have been given important organizational responsibilities in BJP’s new national team. These include positions ranging from National Vice President to National General Secretary, Secretary and posts related to fronts and social media.<\/p>\n

Only 14 old faces out of 65<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the new team, 14 old faces have been given positions again, while 51 new faces have been included. This means that in the 65-member team, approximately 78.5% are new faces. This clearly shows that changes have been made at a large scale in the organization, although some experienced leaders have also been retained.<\/p>\n

All Front Presidents Removed, Total 29 Faces Dropped<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

29 faces from the previous team have not been given a place in the new national team. These include leaders who held key organizational positions such as National Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary and Treasurer.<\/p>\n

Apart from this, some old office bearers associated with fronts, offices and media have also not been given a place in the new team.<\/p>\n

Vasundhara is the oldest, Hemang is the youngest<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In BJP’s new 65-member team, the oldest face is Vasundhara Raje, whose age is 73 years as of August 17, 2026. While the youngest face is Dr. Hemang Joshi, whose age is 35 years.<\/p>\n

This means there is a 38-year gap between the oldest and youngest faces in the new team. However, complete details of the age of all 65 leaders have not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n
