Now, after coming out of the reality show, Sohail has addressed the speculation. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sohail dismissed all these claims. He stated that due to an upset stomach and deteriorating health during the show, he controlled his diet, which resulted in a weight loss of about 12 kg.<\/p>\n

He explained that his physical transformation was linked to his experience on the show, where he also faced health problems and struggled to adjust to life inside the house.<\/p>\n

Sohail says he was initially claustrophobic<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking about his experience, Sohail revealed that he felt \u201ca bit claustrophobic\u201d during the first few days of the show. He also developed a stomach infection during the first week. Despite being unwell, he continued his journey for around five weeks.<\/p>\n

He said the love and concern shown by the other contestants helped him stay on the show. The health setback also made him more careful about his food and fitness.<\/p>\n

Claustrophobia is an intense fear or feeling of anxiety in enclosed or confined spaces. People experiencing it may feel trapped, uncomfortable, breathless, or panicked in places such as lifts, small rooms, or crowded spaces. It is different from simply disliking a small space.<\/p>\n

In the very first week of entering the house, his stomach problems increased, which caused a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n

Despite his ill health, the other contestants of the show took great care of him and supported him. This is why he was able to stay on the show for five weeks.<\/p>\n

Sohail takes responsibility for his separation from Seema<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reality show also saw Sohail speaking openly about his separation from his ex-wife Seema Sajdeh. He reportedly took responsibility for the breakdown of their marriage and said that his own behaviour played a role.<\/p>\n

Sohail and Seema married in 1998 and filed for divorce in May 2022, after 24 years of marriage. They have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan, and continue to co-parent them.<\/p>\n

Sohail has previously spoken about maintaining a cordial relationship with Seema for the sake of their children. He has said that both sons live with him and Seema visits them regularly.<\/p>\n

Seema Sajdeh joins the show as a wildcard<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sohail’s ex-wife Seema Sajdeh has also entered Alliance as a wildcard contestant. Since her arrival, viewers have seen the former couple share a warm and respectful bond.<\/p>\n

Sohail and Seema’s sons have remained their priority<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite their separation, Sohail and Seema have continued to focus on their two sons. Nirvaan was born in 2000, while Yohan was born in 2011.<\/p>\n

Their relationship has changed from marriage to co-parenting, but both have repeatedly maintained that their children remain the most important part of their family.<\/p>\n

Faced sexual abuse in childhood, kept the trauma to himself for years<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sohail had also revealed that he was sexually abused during his childhood, but kept the experience to himself for several years. He opened up about it during the reality show Alliance.<\/p>\n

Sohail’s team recently secured the top spot on the leaderboard. During a conversation with fellow contestants Arslan Goni, Ruhi Dosani and Ali Goni, he spoke about his childhood trauma while discussing the impact of ragging and abuse.<\/p>\n

Recalling the incident, Sohail said, “When I was a child, someone sexually abused me, and I carried that pain in silence for years.”<\/p>\n
