In it, he made several claims regarding the role of Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the temple construction committee and a former IAS officer.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Champat Rai said, the trust formed for the construction of the Ram Temple had 15 trustees, and Nripendra Misra was made the chairman of the construction committee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">At Misra&#8217;s suggestion, Larsen &amp; Toubro <strong>(L&amp;T)<\/strong> was given the responsibility for temple construction. Additionally, the selection of a Noida-based Design Associate firm for work related to building design and construction was also done by Nripendra Misra. The firm&#8217;s head has been identified as Jai Kaktikar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Champat Rai alleged that Nripendra Misra included people of his choice in the temple construction committee. He claimed that some of these individuals visited Ayodhya only once or twice during the six-year period. The resignation was accepted at the trust meeting on July 6. This struggle ended after the local community occupied the site in 1949.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Between 1950 and 1989, four lawsuits were filed in local courts. These lawsuits were fought by the petitioners at their own level. Later, a three-member bench of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court heard the case. During the hearing, which lasted for about 15 years, all three judges independently wrote their judgments, and the total judgment was about 8,500 pages long.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Attempt at mediation in 2019, Supreme Court hearing lasted 40 days<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The Supreme Court attempted to resolve the dispute through dialogue. For this, a three-member mediation committee was formed, consisting of retired judge FMI Kalifulla, senior advocate Sriram Panchu, and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. A total of 15 trustees were arranged in it. One seat was reserved for Nirmohi Akhara and one for Scheduled Caste\/Tribe representation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Additionally, the District Magistrate of Ayodhya, and IAS officers as representatives of the Uttar Pradesh government and the central government, were made ex-officio trustees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">A senior administrative officer was given the responsibility for the management of the temple construction committee and temple-related works. Currently, Nripendra Misra is handling this responsibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Selection of L&amp;T based on Ashok Singhal&#8217;s suggestions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The suggestions related to temple construction by the late Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal were conveyed to Nripendra Misra. Based on these suggestions, Larsen &amp; Toubro <strong>(L&amp;T)<\/strong> was selected for the temple construction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Additionally, considering the need for an equivalent institution for construction monitoring and project advice, Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) was chosen as the Project Management Consultant. Ayodhya&#8217;s International Ramkatha Museum is the property of the Uttar Pradesh government. Nripendra Mishra felt that running two separate museums in a small city would not be practical.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Following this, an agreement was reached between the Uttar Pradesh government and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, and the museum building was given to the Trust on a 30-year lease.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The museum will have 20 galleries. The IIT Madras team has arrived in Ayodhya and started work on the museum. The museum will be opened to the general public by December 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>The 70-acre complex of the birthplace has been divided into two parts<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"f5e1d774\" style=\"border-bottom:none\">\n<ul class=\"d7ef6cb6\">\n<li>Part-1 includes the Ram Temple, the Parikota<strong> (circumambulation path)<\/strong>, and six temples within the Parikota. To the west are the retaining wall, Sheshavatar Temple, Saptarishi Temple, Sant Tulsidas Temple, and Kuber Tila. At Kuber Tila, Jatayu has been installed, and a pilgrim facilitation centre, toilet complex, greenhouse, sewer treatment plant, powerhouse, and shoe racks have been built. A memorial in memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the Ram Janmabhoomi liberation movement, roads, drinking water, and sewer lines have also been constructed.<\/li>\n<li>In Part-2, a guest house with 23 rooms, an auditorium with a capacity of 500 people, a trust office, and parking are being built. The responsibility for construction has been given to Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam, and the responsibility of the project consultant has been given to EIL. A security wall approximately 3.25 km long is being built around the 70-acre complex. CRPF was consulted for security standards. Security towers are also being built based on CRPF&#8217;s suggestions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Mention of arrangements related to darshan (viewing) at Ram Temple<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"f5e1d774\" style=\"border-bottom:none\">\n<ul class=\"d7ef6cb6\">\n<li>A Pilgrim Service Center has been built on Ram Path, in front of Birla Dharamshala. Previously, there was a bus stand of the Transport Corporation here. The Trust purchased the land and constructed a two-story prefabricated building.<\/li>\n<li>After the consecration of Ramlala on January 22, 2024, more than 75,000 devotees are visiting daily. During the Mahakumbh, more than 3 lakh devotees arrived daily.<\/li>\n<li>8 lines have been created for Ramlala&#8217;s darshan. These include 1 VIP darshan, 1 easy access or wheelchair darshan, and 6 general lines. All paths are separate, preventing any crossing situations.<\/li>\n<li>Even during VIP darshan, darshan for general devotees continues. There is a separate arrangement for Governors, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, and Judges.<\/li>\n<li>Free wheelchairs are available for devotees with disabilities. Elderly people above 60 years of age, disabled, unwell, pregnant women, and mothers with children under 5 years can obtain &#8216;Sugam Darshan&#8217; <strong>(easy darshan)<\/strong> passes.<\/li>\n<li>Free arrangements are also made within the premises for groups performing Bhajan, Kirtan, Sundarkand, music, and dance services. Devotees are given free packets of God&#8217;s prasad at every exit.<\/li>\n<li>The temple priests are engaged in the service of Raag-Bhog, Vedas, Ramayana, and Vishnu Sahasranama recitation. There is no system for devotees to perform puja or to take dakshina <strong>(offerings)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Chequebooks are not used in the trust&#8217;s bank accounts. All payments are made through bank transfers, and no cash payments are made. The trust&#8217;s accounts are with SBI, PNB, and Bank of Baroda.<\/li>\n<li>Internal and statutory audits of the trust&#8217;s financial transactions are conducted.
