Police in Maharashtra\u2019s Latur district have registered a case against Abhijit Dipke, convenor of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), and others for allegedly entering a government school without permission, obstructing official work and threatening teachers.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The FIR was registered at Ausa police station based on a complaint by Sayyad Shamshadbanu Khairatali, 53, a teacher at Zilla Parishad Urdu School. According to the complaint, the incident took place at the school in Jawali, near Ausa, more than 500 km from Mumbai.<\/p>\n

Dipke has been visiting schools across Latur district to highlight their problems as part of the CJP\u2019s ongoing \u2018School Thik Karo\u2019 campaign.<\/p>\n

Entered school without permission, questioned students<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, Dipke and his associates entered the school without permission, sat among the students and questioned them.<\/p>\n

The complaint alleges that their actions disrupted classes and obstructed government work. Dipke also reportedly recorded the incident and shared the video on social media.<\/p>\n

Accused of threatening teachers with suspension<\/strong><\/p>\n

The complaint further alleges that Dipke made defamatory claims about the school, including that students from another school had been brought in and seated in its classrooms during his visit.<\/p>\n

He is also accused of threatening to have teachers suspended.<\/p>\n

FIR registered under four BNS sections<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police have registered the FIR under Sections 132, 329(3), 351(2) and 356(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).<\/p>\n

The sections relate to allegedly using assault or criminal force to deter a public servant from performing their duty, house-trespass, criminal intimidation and criminal defamation.<\/p>\n

Officials said further investigation into the case is underway.<\/p>\n
