Three newborns died in the incident. Six children were shifted to a super-speciality hospital for better treatment.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">According to preliminary information, the fire broke out after an explosion in a ventilator on the hospital\u2019s third floor. Smoke then spread through the unit. At the time, 39 newborns were undergoing treatment in the NICU.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">As soon as the fire broke out, doctors, nurses and hospital staff on duty launched a rescue operation and safely evacuated several children.
