This event is being organized on the occasion of National Sports Day, which is celebrated on August 29.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Modi&#8217;s address will be part of the Ministry of Sports&#8217; nationwide program &#8216;Khelo India Samvad &#8211; Khel Ki Baat, PM Ke Saath&#8217; (Khelo India Dialogue &#8211; Sports Talk, With PM). This event will be held two days before National Sports Day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">August 29 marks the birth anniversary of hockey legend Dhyan Chand. National Sports Day is celebrated in the country on this day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Message on sports and youth power to be shown in the program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said in a media briefing that key excerpts related to sports and youth power from the Prime Minister&#8217;s Independence Day message will also be shown. After this, the Prime Minister will virtually address the youth across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">He said that under this initiative, youth, players and educational institutions are connecting at more than 1500 places across the country. Many large educational institutions including IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, prominent medical colleges and universities are participating in this nationwide campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">According to Mandaviya, this program is a major effort to create a direct dialogue between youth interested in sports and the country&#8217;s policymakers. This will give the youth an opportunity to share their ideas, experiences and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The program will begin with a welcome to MY Bharat volunteers. This will be followed by a special video showcasing the changes in India&#8217;s sports ecosystem over the past 12 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">After the Prime Minister&#8217;s address, physical programs will begin at more than 1500 locations across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Programs to be held at four-five locations in Delhi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">In the national capital Delhi, this event will be organized at four-five locations. These include IIT Delhi, where Mandaviya will be present at the program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Mandaviya said, &#8220;I will be present at the event to be held at IIT Delhi on August 27.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">India&#8217;s current and former players and international medal winners, including Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha, will also interact with the youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">These players include Manika Batra, Dipa Karmakar, Saina Nehwal, Gagan Narang, Sreejesh, Mary Kom, Bhaichung Bhutia, Pullela Gopichand, Anju Bobby George, Karnam Malleswari, and Mirabai Chanu. Some cricketers will also interact with the youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Mandaviya said that players will share their journey, challenges, failures, successes, and sports-related experiences with the young participants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">He said that the objective of the program is to make the youth believe that a champion&#8217;s journey does not start from a big stadium, but from a small ground and the first attempt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">MPs, MLAs, Union Ministers, State Ministers, and Sports Ministers of states will also participate in the program. These public representatives and other prominent people will interact with the youth and take their views and suggestions on four main topics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Four main themes related to sports and youth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Mandaviya stated that the main objective of the program is to gather thoughts, suggestions, and new ideas from youth on four themes related to sports and youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The first theme is to strengthen the sports ecosystem by providing better facilities, coaching, and opportunities at the grassroots level. The second theme is to prepare talent for the 2036 Olympics, focusing on scientific talent identification and player development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The third theme is to strengthen youth leadership and increase youth participation in governance. The fourth theme is youth empowerment for a developed India, which includes essential skills for the future, volunteering, and nation-building opportunities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Suggestions received from the program will be directly conveyed to policymakers and the sports ecosystem. This will help connect grassroots experiences and youth aspirations with policy formulation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\"><strong>Youth will be encouraged to register on the MY Bharat portal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">As part of youth-related activities, the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) quiz will also be organized. Young people will also be encouraged to register on the MY Bharat portal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The objective of this initiative is to connect youth beyond a one-day event.
