Private company AndroAir has developed it in collaboration with state-owned defence company Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The drone is capable of surveillance, target identification and destroying enemy positions. It can also carry out attacks without GPS. Alakh-S drones search for and monitor targets. Information is then quickly shared between the mothership and the smaller drones. Alakh-S is used for surveillance and target identification, while Alakh-K is capable of attacking targets. A carrier system has been fitted with 20 units, including the helicopter-like mothership.
