<\/picture><\/div>\nSalman Khan and filmmaker Subhash Ghai have mainly worked together in the 2008 film ‘Yuvvraaj’.<\/span><\/p>\n Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has revealed that Salim Khan once sent Salman Khan to apologise to him following an altercation between the two.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Altercation happened before \u2018Yuvvraaj\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n The incident took place before Ghai and Salman worked together on Yuvvraaj<\/em>. According to Ghai, Salman allegedly abused him at a party, and the argument eventually turned into a physical scuffle.<\/p>\n Salman\u2019s brother approached Ghai for the film<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Speaking to Times Now, Ghai recalled how Salman\u2019s brother approached him about making a film with the actor. He said, \u201cFor Yuvvraaj, Salman Khan’s brother approached me and said, \u2018Why don’t you make a film with Salman?\u2019 I said, \u2018Is Salman ready for it? Because I have never worked with him.\u2019 He said, \u2018He is ready.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Ghai then began working on the film\u2019s story. He said, \u201cMy challenge was that I had to cast the actor in a character he had never played before.\u201d<\/p>\n Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif also starred<\/strong><\/p>\n Released in 2008, Yuvvraaj<\/em> featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in key roles. Despite its star-studded cast, the film did not perform well at the box office.<\/p>\n Released in 2008, the Salman Khan starrer film ‘Yuvvraaj’ was made on a budget of approximately \u20b948 crore. The film earned around \u20b931.22 crore at the box office.<\/span><\/p>\n Ghai said – Star image can overshadow the character<\/strong><\/span> Ghai further added, “After a point, stars become a caricature of themselves. How many times can you repeat yourself? Hats off to Bachchan Sahab, i.e., Amitabh Bachchan, for playing so many different characters.”<\/p>\n Subhash Ghai made his directorial debut in 1976 with the film Kalicharan, which proved to be a blockbuster at the box office.<\/span><\/p>\n Had a fight with Salman at a party<\/strong><\/p>\n Recalling the incident of the fight, Ghai said, “We had a fight before the film. There was a scuffle. After this, his (Salman’s) father scolded him.”<\/p>\n He explained, “We were at a party. Salman was drunk. He was saying something wrong, so I told him, ‘Don’t say that.’ He had some resentment towards me over something.”<\/p>\n Ghai said, “He asked me, ‘Why did you do this or that?’ I said that as a director, this is my decision. He started abusing me. I asked him not to do so. After this, we had an argument there.”<\/p>\n Salim Khan sent Salman to apologise<\/strong><\/p>\n According to Ghai, Salim Khan resolved the matter after this argument. He said, “The next morning, Salim Sahab called me and told me that Salman had told his mother about all these things.”<\/p>\n Ghai said, “He told me that I (Salim) have scolded him. After this, he sent Salman to my house to apologise. Salman came and apologised gracefully.”<\/p>\n He further added, \u201cAfter this, I started liking him because he respected his father a lot. I ended the matter right there. We often used to visit each other’s homes.
