MTV Splitsvilla 12 fame Bhavya Singh recently spoke about Asim Riaz and his former relationship with Himanshi Khurana during a podcast. Bhavya claimed that someone had described Asim as a \u201ccrazy person\u201d and alleged that he had been physically abusive. She also claimed that a video related to the alleged incident existed.<\/p>\n

During the podcast, it was further alleged that Asim is financially dependent on an unidentified woman in Dubai and is living on her money.<\/p>\n

Asim’s lawyer rejected the allegations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advocate Suhail Sharif, partner at Falcon Legal, who is representing Asim Riaz, has strongly rejected the claims. According to the legal notice, Bhavya’s statements allegedly created a false impression that Asim had physically assaulted Himanshi Khurana.<\/p>\n

The notice maintains that these allegations are baseless and defamatory.<\/p>\n

Asim\u2019s lawyer said that the allegations have harmed his client\u2019s public image and professional career. He also made it clear that Asim will take legal action against any further defamatory claims.<\/p>\n

Controversy began after Himanshi Khurana\u2019s allegations<\/strong><\/p>\n

The controversy surrounding Asim began after his former girlfriend Himanshi Khurana made allegations about their relationship during an appearance on Paras Chhabra\u2019s podcast.<\/p>\n

Himanshi alleged pressure to change her religion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Himanshi claimed that she faced mental pressure to change her religion while she was in a relationship with Asim. She said objections were raised over her prayers and religious rituals, while she was also allegedly asked to change her beliefs.<\/p>\n

According to Himanshi, the pressure became so intense that she came close to converting to Islam. She also said that before taking such a step, she wanted to visit the Char Dham once more because she feared she might not be able to reconnect with her earlier religious beliefs afterward.<\/p>\n
