Here, professors are preparing fake research for medical students pursuing MD, DM, MS, MCh and DNB degrees.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fake research for medical colleges in more than 12 states across the country is being prepared in different districts of Bihar. This means medical students are obtaining MD degrees without conducting any research. This shocking revelation has been made by Bhaskar’s investigative reporting team.<\/p>\n Undercover reporters, posing as medical students, met more than 50 such agents and professors, 12 of whom claimed they could provide fake research and theses based on 50 or 100 patients.<\/p>\n It is also claimed that the demand from medical students at medical colleges in more than 12 states across the country is being fulfilled in Bihar.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Read and watch Bhaskar Investigation to find out how fake research is being conducted for the highest degree in medicine…<\/strong><\/em> The Bhaskar Investigation Team received information that fake research was being sold in Bihar to medical students from more than 12 states across the country. Tracing the links from doctors and professors to agents, the reporters investigated the entire network.<\/p>\n Undercover reporters negotiated with around 50 people involved in selling fake research papers and operating this network. Five agents and two professors revealed major secrets.<\/p>\n Information about several such agents was obtained from Ramna Path on Ashok Rajpath in Patna. The undercover reporters’ first deal was with an agent named Adil.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> I need to get an MD thesis written. Adil – <\/strong>Which college is it for, and what is the topic?<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>The topic is “DNA of Unidentified Dead Bodies” from the Department of Forensic Medicine at RIMS, Ranchi. Adil-<\/strong> All right, it will be done.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>How much will it cost? Adil- <\/strong>It will cost Rs 50,000 for an MD thesis. Give us the synopsis and pay some money in advance, and it will be done.<\/p>\n Reporter-<\/strong> You have to write the synopsis as well. Adil-<\/strong> That will cost an additional Rs 5,000.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>Who will write this thesis? Adil- <\/strong>Professors from the medical college write it. They have a complete team. They do this work on a large scale.<\/p>\n Reporter-<\/strong> Can you introduce me to the professor? Adil- <\/strong>They do not meet anyone. We handle the entire work ourselves, and we handle the deals as well.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>What is your role? Adil- <\/strong>I am the one who deals with people. We work as a team.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> Who else is on your team? Adil –<\/strong> Professors do the writing, while the others handle the research and data work. I do the typing and binding.<\/p>\n Reporter – <\/strong>Professors from which colleges do you have? Adil – <\/strong>We have professors from dozens of colleges, experts in every subject. We assign the work according to the requirements.<\/p>\n Reporter – <\/strong>Who will write my thesis? Adil – <\/strong>We will have it written by a professor from a medical college in Sasaram.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> From which places do people come to you to have their theses written? Adil – <\/strong>People come from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Nepal, Uttarakhand, Assam, Bengal, and many other states.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> Do you also receive orders online? Adil –<\/strong> We receive work online from several states, and the papers are couriered from here.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>Which medical colleges in Bihar do students come from to get their theses written? Adil-<\/strong> Students come from all the medical colleges. Several students from PMCH have completed their MDs this way and become doctors.<\/p>\n We had already received input about several professors from the agent, Adil. We wanted to go beyond the agents and reach the professor who was a major player in this network. After 10 meetings, Adil agreed to take us to the professor.<\/p>\n At first, Adil spoke to the professor over the phone, but he refused to meet any outsider or students. After the reporters pressured him, Adil also tempted the professor with money, and he agreed.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> I need an MD thesis written. Sajjad Zaheer –<\/strong> That can be done. Give me the topic and synopsis.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> I don’t have a synopsis either. I’ll give you the topic; you have to write both the synopsis and the thesis. Sajjad Zaheer –<\/strong> Okay, give me the topic.<\/p>\n Reporter –<\/strong> What is the process for submitting the synopsis and thesis? Please tell me the complete process. Sajjad Zaheer – <\/strong>After MBBS, students pursue MD and MS.<\/p>\n Professor Sajjad claimed that no college software would be able to detect his thesis.<\/span><\/p>\n Professor said-In research studies, the research itself is fake<\/strong><\/span> The whole game is about data. There is no need for a sick person. We will demonstrate through data that we are giving medicine to someone: how many milligrams of the medicine produced what effect over how many days. After that, we will frame a hypothesis about whether the medicine administered is having an effect or not.<\/p>\n If it had an effect, then how much of an effect did it have? It is not as though we are taking a dead body and conducting research on it. This is a survey-type exercise. It is shown that we are going to a hospital and conducting research on 50 patients every day.<\/p>\n If we gave a chemical to one patient, what effect did it have? If another person gave a chemical for exactly the same illness, what effect did it have?<\/p>\n We will prepare and present data showing that the medicine given by the other person had no effect, while the chemical I administered had an effect of more than 50%.<\/p>\n The reporter asked, “Does this mean that this is research on one disease?” Professor Sajjad Zaheer replied, “Yes. For example, if someone is a diabetic patient, medicine is given to them. What effect did it have on them after the medicine was administered?”<\/p>\n They felt dizzy, began to suffer from dehydration, started experiencing heart attack-related problems, or their illness was cured. In the discussion, it has to be written that 50 people had previously conducted research on this disease and administered different medicines-what their effects were and what happened when we administered the medicine.<\/p>\n It is shown that so far, 50 people have experimented with diabetes, but their success rate was 10-15 percent, whereas in the experiment we conducted, the success rate was more than 50 percent.<\/p>\n My experiment cured the illness. The reporter asked whether it was possible that college professors might ask him to conduct the practical in front of them. Professor Sajjad Zaheer claimed that nothing like that happens.<\/p>\n If the professor asks questions during the viva, the candidate will read through the thesis that was submitted once. The professors then ask questions based on it. During the viva, he will say that when others conducted the practical, their success rate was 5 percent, whereas mine was 50 percent successful. We will present our findings as more significant.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>How much money do you charge? Sajjad Zaheer- <\/strong>We charge 40-50 thousand. Earlier, we used to charge 1 lakh rupees for an MD.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>You will provide it in writing, right? There won’t be any problem with that, will there? It’s not like we might get caught somewhere, is it? Sajjad Zaheer- <\/strong>There is no problem. I give a 100 percent guarantee.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>It’s not illegal, is it? Sajjad Zaheer- <\/strong>No, how can it be illegal? It will be checked there, right? There is no machine in the college that can check and tell whether the candidate wrote the thesis themselves or someone else wrote it.<\/p>\n Reporter- <\/strong>Do you also write MS theses? The reporter went to a shop called “S2M Photocopy,” where he met an agent named Nitish.<\/p>\n When the reporter said he wanted an MD thesis written, Nitish told him that Sweety Kumari runs a cybercaf\u00e9 on Ramna Road, where the thesis could be written. She herself is a political science professor at Patna University. The undercover reporter made a deal with Sweety.<\/p>\n Reporter-<\/strong> I need an MD synopsis and thesis written.
