In Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Chitrakoot, the water level of the Mandakini River has started rising again. On Monday night, the water reached the steps at Ramghat. Schools up to Class 8 have been closed for two days.<\/p>\n

Rain was reported in Patna, Lakhisarai, Purnia, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Araria and Munger in Bihar on Monday. The weather department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in 11 districts of the state.<\/p>\n

In Uttarkashi, the Yamunotri Highway has been completely blocked near Ranachatti after debris and trees fell from a hillside. An NHAI team has reached the spot and is working to clear the debris and fallen trees.<\/p>\n
