Naushad was trying to flee the city. The encounter took place at 4 a.m. on Tuesday in the Saiyad Sarawan area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to CO Chail Shivank Singh, the police received information from an informer that Naushad was in the Saiyad Sarawan area. When the police cordoned off the area, he opened fire at the team. In the retaliatory firing, he was shot in the leg. He has been admitted to a hospital. An illegal country-made pistol and cartridges were recovered from Naushad.<\/p>\n The police are now investigating where Naushad hid after the explosion at the firecracker factory and who helped him escape.<\/p>\n The incident took place at around noon on August 31 in Manauri market under the Pipri police station area. The explosion at the firecracker factory was so powerful that it was heard up to about 2 kilometres away. As soon as the information was received, police forces from Pipri and nearby police stations reached the spot. Firefighting teams began efforts to bring the blaze under control. They include Naushad, son of Nizamuddin; Shakeel, son of Nizamuddin; Shabana, wife of Shakeel; Kahkasha Bano, wife of Naushad; Adil, son of Naushad; and Saina, daughter of Shakeel, all residents of Mahmoodpur Manauri.<\/p>\n After the incident, the police took Shabana, wife of Shakeel, into custody and began questioning her. The police will now question the arrested Naushad to gather information about the operation of the factory, the purchase and sale of firecrackers, and the role of the other accused.<\/p>\n Action taken against four police personnel, including the station house officer, for negligence<\/strong><\/p>\n Following the incident, Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapat took action against four police personnel, including the Pipri police station in-charge, for negligence in the performance of their duties.
