<\/p>\n In a conversation for Farah Khan’s vlog, Mouni revealed that she made her debut by playing the character of Krishna Tulsi in the first season of the show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Farah visited her Mumbai home, where Mouni shared details about her first acting opportunity.<\/p>\n Ekta Kapoor’s team spotted her outside the university<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mouni shared that she was walking outside her university when someone from producer Ekta Kapoor’s team spotted her and tapped her on the shoulder.<\/p>\n Farah was surprised to hear this. She said, “Did that really happen? What are you talking about? We only hear such stories where someone was sitting in a cafe and someone spotted them.”<\/p>\n Confirming this, Mouni said, “But it really happened. This is exactly how I got the opportunity. It was the show ‘Kyunki’, in which I played the character of Smriti Irani di’s granddaughter.”<\/p>\n The character and story of Krishna Tulsi<\/strong><\/p>\n Mouni also mentioned that the story of Krishna Tulsi in the show was interesting and her arrival brought positive changes in Tulsi’s life. The character of Krishna Tulsi was portrayed as an orphan girl.<\/p>\n The character of Tulsi in the show was played by Smriti Irani. When Tulsi decides to sacrifice her life by immersing herself in the Ganges, she finds this baby girl floating in the river.<\/p>\n Following this, the character was named Krishna Tulsi after Tulsi.<\/p>\n Pairing with Pulkit Samrat and Akashdeep Saigal<\/strong><\/p>\n In ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, Mouni Roy was first paired with Pulkit Samrat. Later in the show, she was also seen paired with Akashdeep Saigal.<\/p>\n After this Star Plus show, Mouni worked in many popular TV shows. Her major projects include ‘Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev’, in which she played the character of Sati.<\/p>\n Mouni also worked in two seasons of ‘Naagin’.
