India has another satellite in the sky. ISRO successfully launched the EOS-05 imaging satellite at 2:55 am Thursday aboard the GSLV-F17 rocket from Sriharikota.<\/p>\n

And the wait wasn\u2019t long. Just 18 minutes after liftoff, EOS-05 reached orbit.<\/p>\n

Weighing 2,367 kg, the satellite will capture wide-area images from 36,000 km, helping monitor India\u2019s borders, including the Pakistan-China frontier, and support disaster response.<\/p>\n
