ccording to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in northern and eastern India over the next few days. After continuous rain in Delhi on Saturday, a sharp drop in temperature was recorded. Several roads were waterlogged.<\/p>\n

Monsoon activity resumed in Rajasthan, bringing rain to several districts, including Jaipur, Ajmer, Dausa, and Alwar. In Ajmer, a school wall collapsed due to the rain.<\/p>\n

Three cars became trapped after a road caved in at Kolar in Bhopal. A heavy rain alert has been issued for 19 districts in Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, floodwaters have spread across 18 districts in Bihar, affecting more than 1 million people.<\/p>\n

Monsoon rains are also continuing in Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, intermittent rain was reported in Lucknow, Noida, and Gorakhpur. Twenty-six districts, including Varanasi and Prayagraj, are affected by floods. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Varanasi.<\/p>\n

The first snowfall of the season has occurred in Kashmir. Fresh snowfall was recorded at Sunshine Peak in Gulmarg and at Kaobal Gali in the Tulail Valley of Bandipora district. Following the snowfall, the mountain peaks and surrounding areas have been blanketed in white.<\/p>\n
