Good news for LPG users: whether you live in a city or a village, you can now book your next cylinder after 25 days.<\/p>\n

The Centre has made the refill gap uniform for all domestic customers, ending the earlier 45-day wait in rural areas.<\/p>\n

Minister Suresh Gopi said the move follows an improvement in LPG supplies and a sharp fall in the backlog.<\/p>\n

The Day Ahead<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Vadodara and Navsari today to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects in Gujarat. The visit also aims to highlight the \u2018Swachhata Se Swagat\u2019 campaign, with cleanliness and tree plantation drives being held across both districts.<\/p>\n

2. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will visit Imphal and the INA Museum and War Memorial at Moirang in Manipur\u2019s Bishnupur district. He will also visit Sainik School in Imphal. The visit aims to pay tribute to the INA\u2019s history and honour the contribution of its personnel.<\/p>\n

3. Jharkhand BJP will begin a four-day statewide agitation over cases registered against students. Demonstrations will be held at district headquarters across all 24 districts from September 8 to 11, aiming to pressure the state government to withdraw the cases.<\/p>\n

4. Punjab government employees are expected to go on mass leave today if the state government does not withdraw its notice against protesting staff. The move aims to pressure the government to address their long-pending demand for Dearness Allowance (DA) and intensify their ongoing agitation.<\/p>\n

5. Madras High Court will continue its interim stay on notifying bypolls in five Tamil Nadu Assembly constituencies. The hearing aims to decide whether the stay should continue, as election petitions challenging the results in Trichy East, Viralimalai, Perundurai, Ambasamudram and Karur remain pending.<\/p>\n
