The monsoon system has weakened in Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is active in the western region, but it is not having much impact on the state. Today, there is a heavy rain alert in four districts-Umaria, Mandla, Balaghat, and Dindori.<\/p>\n

In Uttar Pradesh, 26 districts are affected by floods. Around 4 lakh people have been affected. The Ganges River is in spate in Unnao, and more than 10 villages have been turned into islands. On Friday, a rain alert has been issued for 75 districts.<\/p>\n

Flood conditions continue in 14 districts of Bihar. Five people died after drowning in floodwaters in Bhagalpur, while three people died after being struck by lightning in Araria.<\/p>\n

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for South Gujarat today. It has also warned of heavy rain in Navsari, Valsad, and Dang on September 13.<\/p>\n
