Manipur musician Chontham Vikram Singh’s postmortem report states that he died due to excessive blood loss. The AIIMS Delhi autopsy report attributes the cause to severe injuries to his chest and abdomen.<\/p>\n

According to the report, around 15 ribs in Singh’s chest and abdomen were fractured. Injuries were also found on his head, face, arms, chest, abdomen, back, and legs.<\/p>\n

Fifty-four-year-old Vikram Singh died while undergoing treatment after being attacked in New Delhi. Police have arrested eight accused in the case, including a minor.<\/p>\n

According to the police FIR, on September 7, Singh went to stop people making noise outside a house in the Ashram area of South Delhi, after which the accused assaulted him.<\/p>\n

  • According to Dr. Sudhir Gupta, head of forensic medicine at AIIMS Delhi, Singh died after being attacked with a heavy object on his abdomen and chest.<\/li>\n

    According to the FIR, the accused entered the building on September 7. They pursued Singh up to the third floor and assaulted him with kicks and punches. Singh’s wife later identified the accused as the people who had previously threatened her husband as well.<\/p>\n

    The police have also obtained CCTV footage showing the accused leaving the building. After the attack, Singh was taken to Holy Family Hospital. He died during treatment.<\/p>\n
