In an interview with CNN-News18, she was asked how she used to react when people questioned why she had not married. Neena said, \u201cI\u2019m not eating off your father, am I? I\u2019m eating off my father. What problem do you have\u2014whether I got married or not?\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n Says \u2018I\u2019m pregnant\u2019 when asked about weight<\/strong><\/p>\n In another question, Neena was asked what she would say if someone told her that she had become fatter than the last time they met. She replied, \u201cI\u2019m pregnant.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n People had speculated about her pregnancy<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Neena said comments about her weight used to upset her. She recalled wearing a slightly thicker sari recently, which made one part of her body appear a little bulky. People then started commenting that Neena Gupta was pregnant at the age of 60.<\/p>\n Neena said, “I told them, if anyone asks now, say, ‘I am pregnant.'”<\/p>\n When she was told that a 74-year-old woman had recently given birth to twins, Neena said with a laugh, “I still have a chance.”<\/p>\n Neena Gupta’s personal life has also seen many ups and downs. She married Amalan Kusum Ghosh, who was studying at IIT Delhi, at a young age. However, the marriage ended within a year by mutual consent.<\/p>\n After that, Neena Gupta was also engaged to Sharangdev Pandit, the son of Pandit Jasraj. However, the relationship did not last long.<\/p>\n In the late 1980s, Neena Gupta was in a relationship with former West Indies cricketer Viv Richards. The two did not marry, but their daughter Masaba Gupta was born in 1989.<\/p>\n Viv Richards was already married, so Neena decided to raise Masaba as a single mother. In 2008, she married New Delhi-based chartered accountant Vivek Mehra in a private ceremony in the United States.<\/p>\n Neena Gupta faced trolling on social media last year after wearing shorts at an airport and sharing a video of herself, to which she gave a scathing response.<\/p>\n In the video, Nina was seen wearing a black outfit and shorts. She told the camera that she carries homemade food with her during long waits. For this, she packs roti rolls and items such as potatoes, chillies, paneer and onions in her tiffin.<\/p>\n Nina wrote in the video caption, “Desi girl in shorts.”<\/span><\/p>\n After this, a user commented on the video, writing, “Very good … but I have one request: please do not show your legs. They are not toned well. We have never seen our grandmothers or mothers showing their legs like this. It is better to remain graceful with age.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, replying to the user’s comment, another user wrote, “What a shameful comment this is, especially coming from a woman. By body-shaming others yourself, you are making things more difficult for women.”<\/p>\n Neena Gupta then responded to the comment, saying, “Don’t worry. People who say such things are actually jealous that they do not have such a good body.
