Wife Sangeeta withdrew divorce petition amid Vijay-Trisha rumours<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan have been linked by rumours for years. Meanwhile, Vijay\u2019s wife Sangeeta had filed for divorce in February 2023. According to PTI, she alleged in her petition that Vijay was involved with another actress and said she had learnt about the alleged affair in April 2021. However, she did not name the actress.<\/p>\n

Sangeeta alleged mental harassment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sangeeta also alleged that Vijay had neglected her and subjected her to mental harassment. She claimed that their relationship had broken down and that they had reached a point where they were living separately under the same roof. She sought divorce under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, and said she could name the actress as a second respondent if required.<\/p>\n

Vijay and Trisha\u2019s appearances drew attention<\/p>\n

Vijay\u2019s personal life also became a topic of discussion during the Tamil Nadu election. His appearances with Trisha added to the speculation surrounding their relationship.<\/p>\n
