A bull created panic on a road in Rohtak after going on a rampage for several hours. Near the old bus stand, it charged at and hit a bus carrying schoolchildren before knocking down a young man riding a motorcycle.<\/p>\n

The bull then chased a scooter rider for nearly a kilometre, triggering panic among commuters. People kept their distance and recorded the incident on their phones.<\/p>\n

Bull damages parked car, suffers facial injury<\/strong><\/p>\n

The bull continued running through the road and later smashed the windscreen of a parked car, also damaging its bonnet. It suffered an injury to its face during the incident and was left covered in blood.<\/p>\n

A Municipal Corporation team eventually rescued the bull and shifted it to a cowshed. The incident occurred on Monday, and a video of the entire episode has now surfaced.<\/p>\n

  • School bus rammed:<\/strong> The video appears to show the entire incident near the old bus stand. The bus was passing through the area carrying children from Baba Banda Bahadur Public School. The bull then rammed the bus forcefully on the driver’s side window. Fortunately, the bus did not lose its balance and the children were unharmed. However, the bull’s sudden appearance on the road could have caused a major accident.<\/li>\n
  • Motorcyclist knocked down:<\/strong> The bull then hit a young man riding a motorcycle and knocked him onto the road. The man was wearing a helmet. After the collision, he became trapped between the motorcycle and the roadside railing. The bull continued ramming the motorcycle repeatedly and hovered around him for some time.<\/li>\n
  • Chased a scooter rider:<\/strong> The bull did not stop there. It began chasing a young man riding a scooter past the area. When the man increased his speed, the bull ran after him for some distance. It eventually stopped and returned towards the road.<\/li>\n

    Panic grips market as injured bull runs through streets<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The market around the old bus stand remained tense for a long time as people feared the bull. People shouted warnings to alert others, while commuters were seen running in different directions to get out of the bull\u2019s way.<\/p>\n

    An eyewitness said the bull was also injured after repeatedly ramming into objects. Blood began flowing from its forehead, making the animal appear even more aggressive.<\/p>\n

    Shopkeepers question stray cattle control drives<\/strong><\/p>\n

    A shopkeeper said the Municipal Corporation claims to conduct regular drives to remove stray cattle from the streets. However, he alleged that such campaigns appear to exist more on paper than on the ground.<\/p>\n

    Officials order immediate action to catch bull<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Rohtak Municipal Corporation Mayor Ram Avtar Valmiki said, \u201cOfficials received information that a bull was causing a disturbance in the area.\u201d<\/p>\n

    He added, \u201cA video of the incident has also surfaced. Officials have been instructed to catch the bull, while the agency awarded the contract has also been directed to take immediate action.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Municipal team rescues injured bull<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Municipal Corporation Chief Sanitary Officer Sachin said they received information that the bull had attacked people. He said, \u201cA team was immediately sent to the spot, where it rescued the bull and shifted it to a cowshed. The bull is currently undergoing treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n
