Police have arrested the driver.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:0\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">According to police, the incident began when the woman\u2019s car collided with an SUV. The SUV driver, Balu Kulmathe, was getting out of the vehicle with his daughter when he was struck by the car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">The car then went out of control and hit three children and two other people on the road. The injured include Harish Rambhau Rewatkar and Ashish Nakhate. All seven injured people have been admitted to hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Police suspect that the woman may have been driving under the influence of alcohol. A medical examination has been conducted, and the suspicion will be confirmed after the report is received.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"word-break:break-word;text-align:left;white-space:pre-line\">Following the accident, a crowd gathered at the spot and later surrounded the police station, demanding strict action against the driver.
