<\/p>\n Moitra faces protest during party meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n As soon as Moitra reached the area, BJP supporters allegedly raised \u201cGo Back\u201d slogans and waved black flags. The situation soon grew tense, with supporters of the TMC and the BJP reportedly engaging in a scuffle.<\/p>\n Eggs were also allegedly thrown at the MP\u2019s car. The incident created tension in the area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n BJP supporters allegedly raise Go Back slogans<\/strong><\/p>\n Following the incident, Moitra posted a video message on social media in which she addressed Supreme Court Justice Dipankar Datta and referred to his earlier remarks during a hearing concerning her security concerns.<\/p>\n TMC BJP supporters reportedly clash there<\/strong><\/p>\n In the video, Moitra said she had informed the West Bengal Police before attending a meeting in her constituency. My Lord, I came to my constituency for a meeting after informing the West Bengal Police, and BJP workers, with their help, pelted eggs at me. True to your advice, I faced them just as a freedom fighter faced bullets,<\/strong><\/em> Moitra said in her post.<\/p>\n She recalls earlier egg throwing incident<\/strong><\/p>\n Moitra had earlier faced an egg-throwing incident in Krishnanagar as well. She subsequently approached the Calcutta High Court after seeking protection from arrest in connection with a case involving an alleged derogatory remark.<\/p>\n Moitra had approached Calcutta High Court<\/strong><\/p>\n She later approached the Supreme Court seeking protection and raised concerns about possible egg attacks.
