Sonu clarified that anything can be shown on the internet and said that the viral video had been edited. He explained that he was not mocking anyone. In reality, he had become emotional and burst into tears after being moved by the singing of a Pakistani girl.<\/p>\n

Sonu Nigam clarified that the video being shared as linked to Salman Khan is from 2020. At the time, actor Javed Jaffrey sent Sonu a video of the Nescafe Basement song ‘Bol Hu’, in which a young girl, Hadiya Hashmi, sang the alaap.<\/p>\n

Sonu was so moved after hearing Hadiya sing that tears came to his eyes. He made and shared a video praising the girl at the time. Some people have now edited the old video with Salman Khan’s television performance and made it viral.<\/p>\n

Singer Aneesh Matthews also commented on Sonu Nigam\u2019s clarification post and confirmed the truth behind the edited video. Aneesh said he clearly remembered that Sonu\u2019s reaction was to child singer Hadiya Hashmi\u2019s alaap in the song \u2018Bol Hu\u2019 from Nescafe Basement<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Other users also pointed out that videos are being misused on the internet to gain views and fuel trolling.<\/p>\n

Controversy began over the credits for \u2018Main Hoon Hero Tera\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The controversy began with a social media post by Salman Khan Films (SKF). To mark 10 years of the film Hero<\/em>, the makers shared a post about Salman Khan\u2019s song \u2018Main Hoon Hero Tera\u2019 but did not mention music composer Amaal Mallik\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

Amaal expressed his displeasure on social media over not receiving credit. The makers later edited the post and added his name. However, Salman\u2019s fans then began trolling Amaal and his brother Armaan Malik.<\/p>\n
