MP to receive rain before monsoon withdrawal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rainfall is expected to continue in Madhya Pradesh as the monsoon begins to withdraw from the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for several districts from September 24.<\/p>\n

Madhya Pradesh has so far received 91% of its seasonal monsoon rainfall.<\/p>\n

Rivers remain swollen in Uttar Pradesh<\/strong><\/p>\n

The monsoon is weakening in Uttar Pradesh, but several rivers continue to remain in spate. In Lalitpur, water from the Betwa River is flowing over a bridge, while boats are being used to navigate flooded lanes in Unnao.<\/p>\n

Several districts in the state may receive rainfall between September 21 and 26.<\/p>\n

Kerala gets yellow alert in six districts<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kerala is likely to experience heavy rain for the second consecutive day on Monday. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts.<\/p>\n
