We know the power they possess at the top. Finn, Pretorius and Shorty. Players who take the game away in the powerplay. Important that we got off to a good start. We didn’t have our big king – Narine today, someone had to step up. Good to see him grab the opportunity.
Told him that he’ll get the opportunity to go up the order sometime. In terms of Popey, long time friend of mine, played a bit of cricket with him, good to see him come in under pressure and take the chance. It was a top spell, four overs on the trot, controlled the game in the middle and got the key wicket. Proud of the boys.
