Actress Kunickaa Sadanand reacted strongly after someone claimed that a child had died during the ongoing CJP protest in Delhi.
While speaking to ANI in New Delhi, a person told the actress, “A child has also died, ma’am.” Kunickaa immediately dismissed the claim, saying, “No, no… there has been no death. I have spoken to the police. No such incident has happened. Please don’t spread false information.”

Notably, Kunickaa Sadanand expressed support for the movement by reaching the ongoing student protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Meanwhile, the actress also criticized the police lathi-charge on students during the Parliament March at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.
The actress released a video on Instagram and said, ‘The pictures we saw today are enough to shake anyone to their core. Abhijit Deepke was detained, students were lathi-charged, tear gas was fired, and yes, it is absolutely natural to be angry, but I want to say one thing with folded hands. Please do not let your anger turn into any violence.’
He further said, ‘This is the moment where the true test of a public movement takes place. Do not abuse the police, do not pick up stones, do not indulge in any kind of vandalism, because the moment a protest starts looking violent, the real issue goes into the background. And the issue for which you have come so far, have been sitting for so many days, gets suppressed.’
Kunickaa questioned the government
In a conversation with PTI, Kunickaa said, It’s been more than a month. How long has it been since the NEET paper leaked? The government should take some cognizance. You are starting your monsoon session. We should have known something, so that we would be assured that you are going to discuss this, but today when the discussion started, you cancelled the Parliament session itself. Does a person have to give their life in a democracy before you listen, or will you not listen even after that, because we have seen that too.’
Clash between protesters and police
The Cockroach Janta Party marched from Jantar Mantar to Parliament on Monday. During the protest, which lasted from 8 AM to 5 PM, there were several clashes between protesters and police.
In the protest that started at 8 AM, protesters broke barricades and marched towards Parliament at 10 AM. The agitators reached near Parliament via Jantar Mantar, Sansad Marg, Janpath Chauraha, War Memorial, Kartavya Path, and Vijay Chowk.
