A YouTuber fed chicken to a mentally unwell, visually impaired Brahmin youth in Chhatarpur. He also made a video of it and posted it on social media. After the video went viral, the youth’s family, along with social organisations, protested. They reached the police station and demanded action against the YouTuber and removal of the related video from social media.
The incident is from the Chandla police station area of Chhatarpur. The police have said they will take action after investigation.
According to the complaint, the victim lives in Chhatarpur with his parents. On Sunday, he left home without informing anyone and, while wandering, reached Chandla. Here, YouTuber Bhagwandas Ahirwar took advantage of his mental and physical condition and fed him chicken.

Accused said – he himself had asked to eat chicken
Accused Bhagwandas Ahirwar stated that on Sunday, he was eating food at home. During this time, the young man arrived there. He said that he had been hungry for two days and wanted to eat food.
Bhagwandas said, “That day, both potato-tomato and chicken dishes were prepared at home. I asked the young man what he wanted to eat, and he expressed a desire for chicken. I served him chicken.” Bhagwandas claims that he had no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings.
Family’s Allegation: Mocking Helplessness is Condemnable
The young man’s family says that when they reached the police station, the TI (Station House Officer) was not present. They informed the TI about the entire matter over the phone. The family said, “Mocking the helplessness of a helpless, visually impaired, and mentally unwell person is highly reprehensible.”
Police say that the matter is being investigated. Action will be taken according to the rules based on the facts that emerge.
Social organizations have demanded action against the YouTuber from the police.
