In the 2023 assembly elections, BJP did not give a ticket to Paras Jain from Ujjain North seat. Despite this, he remained active in organizational and party activities. Paras Jain was elected MLA multiple times from Ujjain North assembly constituency. He was counted among the senior and experienced leaders of BJP. After exercise, he used to eat almonds, walnuts, and fenugreek seeds

Paras Jain was also a wrestler. Now, whenever he found time, he would go to the akhara. Wherever he was, he would definitely exercise for an hour in the morning. During the 2018 assembly elections, when he was 68 years old, he used to exercise in the akhara. After exercising, he would consume papaya, soaked almonds, walnuts, a bowl of fenugreek seeds, and a glass of milk. This was his daily breakfast. After this, the role of the wrestler would end, and he would begin the work of a minister-leader.

Since 1990, he continued to test his strength in the political arena. In 2004, the then Chief Minister Babulal Gaur made him a minister for the first time. In the 1998 elections, the Congress candidate from Ujjain North assembly constituency defeated him.
