Actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has criticised her husband after he was spotted at the airport with actress Komal Roy. Sunita expressed her displeasure over the two being seen together and questioned the need for such appearances when there is no film to promote.
Questioned the purpose of the appearances
When Sunita was asked about Govinda being seen with Komal Roy again, she responded sharply. She said that films are promoted only after they are made and questioned what the purpose was behind doing such publicity without a film.
She further remarked that Govinda was “roaming around with a girl the age of his daughter” and said he should feel “a little ashamed” about it.
‘If your sugar daddy is so rich, at least wear proper clothes’
Sunita Ahuja also took a dig at Komal Roy’s dressing style. Referring to Govinda, she remarked that if someone’s “sugar daddy” is so wealthy, they should at least dress appropriately.
She further said that a person should maintain their own standards. Giving her own example, Sunita said people should look at how she carries herself with style. She described the entire situation as “very bad” and criticised it as reflecting a “cheap mentality.”
Govinda was spotted with co-actress Govinda was recently spotted for the second time at the airport with actress Komal Rani Swarnakar. It is worth noting that Sunita had said some time ago that she hates the name Komal.

Sunita, in an interview given to Miss Malini, had said while talking about Govinda’s affair rumors that mistakes happen in youth, but hearing all this at the age of 63 is not right.
Kept marriage hidden for nearly two years
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in a private ceremony in 1987. At the time, Govinda was already a popular Bollywood star. To avoid affecting his career, the couple kept their marriage away from the public eye for nearly two years. They later made it public after the birth of their daughter, Tina Ahuja. Their son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, was born later.
Sunita said, ‘I hate the name Komal’
Sunita had also spoken about Komal while discussing her husband’s alleged relationships. She said she disliked the name “Komal” and expressed strong anger towards the woman she was referring to.
Komal to make Bollywood debut with Govinda
Govinda is reportedly making his Bollywood comeback after seven years with ‘Rupa’, through which he is also introducing Komal under his production banner. There have also been reports that Komal could be part of Govinda’s next film, ‘Duniyadaari’.
In July, Govinda introduced Komal to the media during a press conference for ‘Rupa’. He praised her performance and said that audiences would consider her a good actress after watching the film.
Govinda responded to Sunita’s affair allegations
Govinda recently reacted to Sunita’s comments about his alleged affairs. Speaking to ANI, he said Sunita criticises him “with great love” and added that he accepts it. He also spoke about the importance of people playing their respective roles in life and credited them for his success.
‘Is it necessary to make allegations to create distance?’
Govinda also suggested that public allegations are not necessary to create distance between people. He questioned whether it was really necessary to speak negatively about one’s own family or close ones for success.
He said that Sunita sometimes praises him and sometimes criticises him, but he sees “more love” in her words.
Sunita had spoken about Govinda’s alleged affairs
Sunita recently appeared as a contestant on ‘Lock Upp 2’, where she opened up about her relationship with Govinda. Talking about his alleged affairs during his younger days, she said she had ignored them at the time but would not do the same now.
