The grand finale of Miss World 2026 is being held on 5 September in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Madhya Pradesh’s Nikita Porwal is representing India in the beauty pageant. The live broadcast in India is being livestreamed on JioHotstar.
Notably, this is the 73rd edition of the beauty pageant and celebrates the 75th anniversary of the organisation.
If Nikita wins, India will not merely end a nine-year wait. It will move ahead of Venezuela and become the first country to win the Miss World crown seven times.

Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri won the Miss World 2025 title. Ethiopia’s Haset Deres was the first runner-up. Poland’s Maja Klajda was the second runner-up, and Martinique’s Aurelie Joachim was the third runner-up. Last year, India’s Nandini Gupta reached the top 20 in the competition. However, she could not make it to the top 8. Nandini had won the Top Model title.
