India’s Got Latent Season 2 Episode 6; Samay Raina Show

Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent Season 2 is once again in the spotlight.

The sixth episode featured Rakhi Sawant, Ashneer Grover, Kushagra Srivastava, and Balraj Ghai on the panel.

The episode quickly became a talking point online, especially because of Rakhi’s unfiltered comments, her exchanges with Ashneer, and several jokes that viewers found provocative.

Samay Raina starts by targeting Ashneer Grover

The episode began with Samay Raina teasing Ashneer Grover for being unusually quiet.

He compared Ashneer’s behaviour on the show with his appearance on Bigg Boss 18, where he had a tense interaction with Salman Khan.

Samay joked that Ashneer, who is known for his outspoken personality, had become quiet in front of Salman as well.

Ashneer referred to the earlier controversy and said that despite online jokes about Salman inviting him to his Panvel farmhouse, no such invitation had come.

Rakhi Sawant takes a dig at Ashneer’s wife

One of the biggest talking points of the episode was the exchange between Rakhi and Ashneer.

When Samay asked Rakhi if she knew Ashneer, she replied that she knew his wife, Madhuri Jain.

Rakhi had earlier commented on Madhuri during her appearance on Lock Upp 2 and had made remarks about her appearance.

During India’s Got Latent, Ashneer hit back and told Rakhi to look at her own face before commenting on his wife. Rakhi responded that she was not afraid of anyone.

Rakhi’s jokes face criticism online

Rakhi’s style of humour also became a subject of debate. Some viewers felt that several of her remarks were too suggestive and personal.

Clips from her interaction with Ashneer started circulating online, with some users calling her comments “vulgar” and “inappropriate”.

At the same time, others enjoyed her unpredictable style and felt that her presence made the episode more entertaining.

The backlash so far has mainly been on social media, and there is no confirmed new FIR against the show over this episode.

Ashneer also gets criticised for his judging

Ashneer’s performance as a panelist also drew criticism. Some viewers questioned his judging and overall presence on the episode.

Some social media users even called him the “worst judge” on the panel.

The reactions show how divided viewers were over the episode. While some enjoyed the celebrity banter, others felt the jokes and judging did not work as well as expected.

Episode brings back memories of Season 1 controversy

The latest episode also reminded viewers of the major controversy that surrounded India’s Got Latent last year.

During Season 1, Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate remark. The incident triggered widespread outrage, multiple complaints and FIRs, and eventually led to all episodes of the season being removed from YouTube.

Rakhi Sawant had also supported Samay during the controversy.

Samay mentioned this in the latest episode and jokingly said that when Rakhi supported him, he realised that “the mistake is mine only.”

Fans wonder if Season 2 could face another controversy

The latest episode has once again raised questions about how far the show’s unfiltered comedy should go.

Some viewers online are already wondering whether certain jokes could lead to complaints, especially because the show has faced legal trouble in the past.

However, there is currently no confirmed report of a fresh FIR related to Episode 6. The controversy remains largely a social-media debate for now.

Samay Raina appears more careful this season

Interestingly, Samay has already shown that he is trying to be more careful with Season 2.

In another recent episode, he stopped a contestant from completing a joke about the Ahmedabad plane crash and asked him to give a different answer.

This came after the legal and public backlash faced by the show’s first season.

With Season 2 now streaming on Netflix as well as YouTube, India’s Got Latent continues to attract attention.

Episode 6 may not have triggered a confirmed legal case so far, but Rakhi Sawant and Ashneer Grover’s clash has once again put the show at the centre of online debate.
