Kannada actor Kiran Raj has clarified that the lion did not attack him in the viral video. He also confirmed that he was not injured.
Video was part of a training session
Kiran explained that the viral video was recorded during a controlled training session for an upcoming project. He said all necessary safety measures were in place during the process.
Caption and music created panic
In a video message, Kiran said the caption and background music used with the clip created fear among viewers and led to misinformation.
He said, “I want to clarify that the caption and background music are causing panic and spreading misinformation.”
Training with Rocky for the project
Kiran said he has been training with a lion named Rocky for the upcoming project. The training is meant to help him become familiar and comfortable while working around the animal.
He said, “The fact is that I am training with Rocky for the project. The environment here is very safe.”
Kiran has developed a bond with Rocky
According to Kiran, the training is being conducted in a controlled and safe environment with the required precautions. During the sessions, he has also developed a bond with Rocky.
He said this familiarity has helped him feel more comfortable while working closely with the lions.

Kiran Raj was injured in a road accident
Exactly 2 years ago today, i.e., on September 10, 2024, Kiran Raj was injured in a horrific road accident near Kengeri in Bengaluru. The accident occurred while he was returning from an orphanage. After the accident, he was admitted to the hospital, where he was kept in the ICU for some time.
According to the information, at the time of the accident, the car was being driven by the executive producer of Kiran Raj’s film ‘Ronny: The Ruler’, and Kiran was sitting in the back seat. When a snake suddenly appeared on the road, the driver swerved the car to the right. As a result, the Mercedes car lost control and collided with the divider.
After the accident, Kiran Raj shared a video from the hospital.
In the incident, Kiran Raj sustained an injury to his chest and was unconscious for some time. Necessary tests, including an MRI, were conducted at the hospital.
